Die Nordex Group gewinnt 83-MW-Projekt in Brasilien
© Nordex SEHamburg (iwr-pressedienst) - Die Nordex Group hat den Auftrag für die Lieferung von 24 Turbinen des Typs AW132/3465 für die vierte Ausbaustufe eines Windparkkomplexes in Brasilien erhalten. Der Auftrag umfasst auch einen Servicevertag für die Wartung und Instandhaltung der Turbinen über 15 Jahre.
Das Windparkareal befindet sich im Bundesstaat Rio Grande do Norte nahe der Stadt São Miguel do Gostoso am Atlantik. Es besteht aus vier einzelnen Abschnitten, von denen die Nordex Group auch für die ersten Bauabschnitte 50 AW132-Turbinen errichtet. Nach Fertigstellung der vierten Ausbaustufe wird der Windparkkomplex insgesamt 74 Turbinen mit einer installierten Gesamtkapazität von über 256 MW umfassen.
Die Nordex Group wird die 24 Turbinen auf 120-Meter-Betontürmen errichten. Nordex produziert die entsprechenden Betontürme in seinem lokalen Werk in Areia Branca nahe des Standorts. Die Maschinenhäuser fertigt der Hersteller in seinem Werk in Bahia. Um das Projekt unter Einbezug eines maximalen lokalen Anteils zu realisieren, bezieht die Nordex Group die Rotorblätter ebenfalls aus Brasilien.

Die Gruppe hat mehr als 27 GW Windenergieleistung in über 40 Märkten installiert und erzielte im Jahr 2018 einen Umsatz von etwa 2,5 Mrd. EUR. Das Unternehmen beschäftigt derzeit über 6.500 Mitarbeiter. Zum Fertigungsverbund gehören Werke in Deutschland, Spanien, Brasilien, den USA, Indien, Argentinien und in Mexiko. Das Produktprogramm konzentriert sich auf Onshore-Turbinen der 2,4- bis 5,X-MW-Klasse, die auf die Marktanforderungen von Ländern mit begrenzten Ausbauflächen und Regionen mit begrenzten Netzkapazitäten ausgelegt sind.
