Energiequelle GmbH gears up for international expansion

- Company creates organisational framework for further growth

The company, which was founded in 1997 and already has 20 branches in Germany, France, Finland and Poland, is focusing on the strategic expansion of its national and international activities. Concrete plans include entering at least three more countries and doubling the number of employees to 800 in the next five years. To this end, the four former Vice Presidents were appointed to the newly created Executive Board with effect from 1 May. Together with Founder Michael Raschemann, Gregor Weber (Project Management), Lars Schiller (Operational Management), Maik Pytzka (Sales and Finance) and Dirk Meiser (Corporate Functions) will form the new leadership of Energiequelle GmbH.

The new division management level in Project Management Germany will be expanded to three people in order to be able to provide even better support to the steadily growing number of branches. All new positions have already been filled successfully. René Radeisen, who has been working for Energiequelle for ten years and most recently served as department manager, is now responsible for the North/East region. The North/West region will in future be managed by Sven Punke, who has also been department tmanager at the company since 2016. Stefan Groos, a new colleague, will take over the Southern region. He brings with him many years of experience in the industry and will drive the development of new locations in southern Germany.

Gregor Weber is pleased to be able to focus his overall responsibility for more than 250 employees even more on strategic development and to hand over operational tasks to the new division heads: "It makes me and us proud that we have been able to fill two of the three new positions internally. René and Sven have contributed significantly to the company's success with their projects over the past years and have earned this step up. I am extremely pleased that we were also able to win over Stefan Groos. I congratulate this diverse management team and wish everyone involved every success."
Gregor Weber will also continue to be responsible for the foreign subsidiaries in order to ensure close ties to the German parent company. This is very important to Founder Michael Raschemann: "I want all companies under the management team to come together in order to ensure uniform processes and a good exchange. It is important to me to always keep an eye on the success of all business units as well as the collaborative atmosphere in the company. With the new structure, I think Energiequelle is very well equipped for the future."

Energiequelle has been active in the renewables market since 1997 and has built and managed more than 850 plants across Europe. Last year, the company achieved record sales of EUR 213 million.
