BOREAS Energietechnik and VENTIENT Energy expand cooperation

© Ventient EnergyDresden (renewablepress) - BOREAS Energietechnik continues to build upon its portfolio, securing the technical management of three additional wind farms. The farms in Wendland (Lower Saxony), comprised of 24 ENERCON E-53 and E-70 wind turbines with a total output of 40 MW, are operated by Ventient Energy, an international Independent Power Producer (IPP) based in Edinburgh and existing customer of BOREAS Energietechnik.

BOREAS Energietechnik will provide a complete package of services - from monitoring by the BOREAS control centre, to managing all maintenance and servicing, as well as operating the electrical infrastructure.

Ventient's awarding of the technical management to BOREAS Energietechnik recognises consistently high-quality services provided by BOREAS. Ventient Energy also values the flexibility and speed of contract negotiations, allowing for a swift, efficient takeover of the management of these three wind parks. Within a few weeks BOREAS Energietechnik had taken over the management of the Wendland wind farms in their operational processes, carried out an initial inspection and set up communication with the control room, which is manned 365 days a year.
