Nordex Group erhält Auftrag über 280 MW in Kanada
- ACCIONA Energía bestellt 49 Delta4000-Turbinen
© Nordex SEHamburg (iwr-pressedienst) - Die Nordex Group hat den Zuschlag für die Lieferung und Inbetriebnahme von 49 Turbinen des Typs N155/5.X für den Windpark "Forty Mile" in Alberta, Kanada, erhalten. Der Windpark wurde von Renewable Energy Systems Canada, Inc. entwickelt und wird nach seiner Fertigstellung im ersten Quartal 2025 mit knapp 280 MW installierter Kapazität der größte Windpark von ACCIONA Energía in Nordamerika sein. Alle Turbinen werden in der Kaltklimavariante mit 5,7 MW Leistung geliefert und auf 108 Meter hohen Stahltürmen betrieben.
“Wir freuen uns, die Technologie zur Verfügung zu stellen, um die ehrgeizigen Klimaschutzziele Kanadas zu unterstützen”, kommentiert Patxi Landa, CSO der Nordex Group. “Mit der Cold-Climate-Version gewährleisten unsere Turbinen einen reibungslosen Betrieb auch bei den schwierigen Wetterbedingungen in dieser Region, wo die Temperaturen unter minus 30 Grad sinken können.”
Kanada hat ehrgeizige Klimaschutzziele verabschiedet und lag Ende 2022 weltweit auf Platz 8 der installierten Windkraftkapazität. Auch die Canadian Renewable Energy Association prognostiziert kurzfristig den Zubau von mehr als 5 GW Windenergieleistung (2023-5).

Das Produktprogramm konzentriert sich auf Onshore-Turbinen vor allem der 4- bis 6,X-MW-Klasse, die auf die Markt-anforderungen von Ländern mit begrenzten Ausbauflächen und Regionen mit begrenzten Netzkapazitäten ausgelegt sind.
