Berlin (renewablepress) - The Berlin University of Applied Sciences (BHT) and the Renewables Academy (RENAC) AG are now offering two modules of their renowned online MBA Renewables programme also as certificate courses. These microcredentials courses, Energy Policy and Economic Framework and Marketing Analysis and Instruments, are specifically tailored to the needs of managers in the renewable energy and energy efficiency sectors.

"In the dynamically growing global markets for renewable energies and energy efficiency, a fundamental understanding of the energy policy framework, individual market segments and target groups can be crucial for companies in terms of long-term competitiveness and sustainable growth," emphasised Prof. Dr Florian Schindler, Head of the Distance Learning Institute at the Berlin University of Applied Sciences. "With the new further education programmes for targeted additional qualifications, we are responding to this growing global demand."

The Energy Policy and Economic Framework certificate course provides a comprehensive understanding of the various aspects of energy policy and focuses on the challenges of the energy transition. The Marketing Analysis and Instruments for the Green Energy Industry course enables participants to develop effective marketing strategies for green energy markets.

The curriculum of the accredited MBA Renewables is especially designed for future leaders who want to acquire interdisciplinary management skills to prepare for leadership positions in the globalised market for renewable energy and energy efficiency. Previous graduates of this programme pursued careers as entrepreneurs, managers, consultants and policy advisors to name a few in the renewable energy sector.

The MBA Renewables is the world's first and only MBA distance learning programme with a focus on renewable energy and energy efficiency. This part-time English-language study programme has been successfully offered by the Berlin University of Applied Sciences (BHT) and the Renewables Academy since 2011 and has built up an international graduate network.

The Berlin University of Applied Sciences (BHT) was founded in 1971 as the Technical University of Applied Sciences Berlin (TFH) through the merger of four state engineering academies in Berlin. Located in the centre of Berlin, BHT offers 72 accredited Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes in applied engineering, natural sciences and economics, making it the largest engineering degree programme in Berlin and Brandenburg and one of the largest universities of applied sciences in Germany with around 13,000 students.

The Renewables Academy (RENAC) AG, based in Berlin, is one of the world's leading training academies in the field of renewable energies and energy efficiency. Since its foundation in 2008, more than 30,000 participants from over 165 countries have taken part in the various training programmes. These are offered in various teaching and learning formats and range from online, face-to-face and blended learning courses to virtual live training sessions.
