Telis Energy launches in Germany

Berlin (renewablepress) - Telis Energy (“Telis”), a pan-European renewable energy development platform, today announced the launch of its German subsidiary -Telis Energie Deutschland, targeting a 3GW pipeline of solar PV and on-shore wind projects.

The launch of Telis Energie Deutschland gives Telis a significant foothold in Europe’s largest renewable energy market. The business will be led by Managing Director, Dr. Florian Zickfeld, a globally respected and locally connected leader with experience at blue-chip global energy firms and as an entrepreneur. Telis Energie Deutschland will focus on identifying and developing solar and on-shore wind sites, supporting the accelerated demand for renewable energy supply in Germany.

Backed by global investment firm Carlyle, Telis is targeting a 10GW renewable energy pipeline by 2030 delivered through subsidiaries across Europe’s key markets. Telis’ subsidiary companies benefit from the scale and synergy of an international platform coupled with an emphasis on local knowledge and networks, sector expertise and an entrepreneurial mindset.

Telis seeks to play a significant role in the European energy transition and to capture emerging opportunities in solar, and other renewable energy segments, across European markets. The launch of Telis Energie Deutschland accelerates the platform’s expansion in Europe, which also includes France, Italy and the UK.
