Nordex Group liefert 21 Turbinen mit einer Gesamtleistung von 147 MW für bisher größten Windpark in Lettland
© Nordex SEHamburg (iwr-pressedienst) - Mit einem Auftrag vom Juni punktet die Nordex Group erneut in Lettland: Das Unternehmen liefert und errichtet 21 Turbinen des Typs N163/6.X für den Windpark Pienava. Mit 147 MW ist es der bisher größte Windenergieprojekt des Landes. Pienava wurde von Eolus, einem der größten Projektentwickler von Lösungen für erneuerbare Energien in Skandinavien, entwickelt und an Latvenergo, Lettlands staatliches Energieunternehmen, verkauft.
Nach der Inbetriebnahme im März 2027 ist die Nordex Group anschließend auch für die Wartung der Anlagen im Rahmen eines Service-Vertrags mit einer Laufzeit von 15 Jahren zuständig.
Der Windpark Pienava entsteht in der Gemeinde Tukums südwestlich von Riga. Die Turbinen der Delta4000-Baureihe werden ab Sommer 2026 in der Kaltklimaversion auf 169 Meter Stahlrohrtürmen ausgeliefert und errichtet.
Erst 2024 hatte die Nordex Group mit einem ersten Auftrag über 109 MW den Markeintritt in Lettland vollzogen. Heute befinden sich bereits knapp 300 MW in der Errichtung.
Die Nordex Group im Profil
Die Gruppe hat in ihrer Unternehmensgeschichte bislang insgesamt rund 57 GW Windenergieleistung in über 40 Märkten installiert und erzielte einen Konzernumsatz von rund 7,3 Mrd. EUR im Jahr 2024. Das Unternehmen beschäftigt derzeit mehr als 10.400 Mitarbeiter. Zum Fertigungsverbund gehören Werke in Deutschland, Spanien, Brasilien, Indien, USA und Mexiko. Das Produktprogramm konzentriert sich auf Onshore-Turbinen vor allem der Klassen 4 bis 6 MW+, die auf die Marktanforderungen von Ländern mit begrenzten Ausbauflächen und Regionen mit begrenzten Netzkapazitäten ausgelegt sind.
