Sulzemoos, 1 July 2005 / With the start of M:access on 1 July 2005, Phönix SonnenStrom AG (ISIN DE000A0BVU93), a leading European supplier for solar electricity systems, will change to the new quality segment of the Munich Stock Exchange. The follow-up obligations of this segment ensure greater transparency for investors than on the OTC market.

Phönix SonnenStrom AG is one of eight companies which will undertake the switch when the segment is launched. M:access is a quality segment which targets small and mid-sized companies with the aim of facilitating the procurement of equity for these companies. More stringent reporting requirements such as, for instance, the publishing of an interim report or participating in analyst and investor conferences, ensure greater transparency for investors.

The issue expert commissioned by Phönix SonnenStrom AG is Baader Wertpapierhandelsbank AG which will support the M:access company in the marketing of its shares and monitor the company's compliance with its subsequent follow-up obligations.
