Protección del clima: Emisiones de CO2 a nivel mundial aumentan cada vez más rápido
Münster: actualmente se libera no menos, sino cada vez más dióxido de carbono en todo el mundo. Desde comienzos del nuevo milenio, las emisiones de dióxido de carbono (de efecto nocivo sobre el clima), incluso se han acelerado notablemente, según informa el Foro Económico Internacional de las Energías Renovables (IWR) en Münster, Alemania. Según las cifras globales proporcionadas por el Ministerio Federal de Economía de Alemania, en el año 2006 se superó por primera vez la marca de 30 mil millones de toneladas de CO2. En 1990 fueron 22,7 mil millones de toneladas y diez años más tarde (año 2000) 24,7 mil millones de toneladas de gases nocivos para el clima.
"Las cifras confirman que la tendencia va en una dirección completamente equivocada y con una velocidad en aumento", manifestó el Dr. Norbert Allnoch, director del IWR. Según Allnoch, desde el punto de vista de la comunidad mundial estamos más lejos que nunca de una estabilización e incluso de un cambio de tendencia.
