RENIXX : année boursière 2008 morose pour les actions du secteur des énergies renouvelables
Münster, Allemagne – L’indice boursier des énergies renouvelables RENIXX World a terminé l’année 2008 avec une moins-value sur les cours d’environ 64 % (position finale : 699,07 points). Après d’importants bénéfices enregistrés pendant les années 2006 (+42 %) et 2007 (+107 %), la crise financière mondiale et la forte chute du prix du pétrole succédant aux sommets atteints en milieu d’année ont fait s’effondrer les cours des actions, selon un communiqué du Forum économique international des énergies renouvelables (Internationales Wirtschaftsforum Regenerative Energien – IWR) à Münster.
Les 30 actions internationales répertoriées au RENIXX ont clôturé l’année 2008 par un recul. L’action ayant malgré tout le mieux résisté est celle du fabriquant d’éoliennes REpower, avec une perte de 11 pour cent. La plus forte baisse a été enregistrée par le fabricant nord-américain de bioéthanol VeraSun, avec une perte de 99 pour cent. « L’année 2008 a été une année boursière particulièrement difficile pour le secteur des énergies renouvelables », explique Dr Norbert Allnoch, directeur de l’IWR. « Cependant, en dépit des perturbations actuelles sur les marchés financiers et énergétiques accompagnées de leurs effets à court terme sur les entreprises, la croissance des énergies renouvelables sur le long terme reste ininterrompue », selon M. Allnoch.
