Nordex founder joining the Supervisory Board
- Lars Bondo Krogsgaard appointed to the Management Board
Hamburg - Carsten Pedersen, the founder and long-standing Chief Sales Officer at Nordex SE, will be switching to the Company’s Supervisory Board. He will be replacing Kai Brandes, who stepped down from the Supervisory Board. Kai Brandes is the managing shareholder of CMP Capital Management-Partners GmbH, which sold its investment in Nordex SE in spring 2010.
Most recently, Carsten Pedersen was Chief Sales Officer at Nordex SE and, after 25 years of active services for the Company, will now be joining the Supervisory Board. The principal shareholders as well as the Company itself were particularly anxious to retain for Nordex the particular expertise and experience which Mr. Pedersen holds.
Carsten Pedersen will be replaced on the Management Board effective October 1, 2010 by Lars Bondo Krogsgaard (44), who will be assuming responsibility for the Group’s sales and project management. With a degree in law and an international track record, Mr. Krogsgaard possesses extensive management experience in the energy industry. He will be coming to Nordex from Siemens Wind Power, where he was in charge of sales and project management in the Europe/Africa region. Prior to this, he was commercial director of the \"Renewables\" division at Dong Energy, the largest Danish utility. Says Richterich: \"Lars Krogsgaard is the ideal successor as Chief Sales Officer and will make a valuable contribution to our efforts to additionally reinforce our market position.\"
