PNE WIND AG realises largest single onshore project in company’s history: start of construction of „Chransdorf“ wind farm with 57,6 MW
Cuxhaven - Wind farm developer PNE WIND AG realises the largest German onshore project in its company\'s history: The construction of the Chransdorf wind farm in Brandenburg is about to start soon. A total of 24 wind turbines of the type N117/2400 by Nordex will be installed, which have already been ordered from the manufacturer. The entire wind farm is expected to be put into operation in 2015.
The wind farm is located in a forest area. In regard to make use of the site’s full potential, the planners chose the Nordex turbines with a height of 141 meters after intensive preparatory
Martin Billhardt, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of PNE WIND AG explains:“ With the construction of the Chransdorf wind farm we are taking a big step into the future. This project will be incorporated into the Yieldco in which we want to bundle primarily German wind farm projects with a total capacity of around 150 MW. As the largest single onshore project in our company’s history, Chransdorf is an essential part of this portfolio.”
