Berlin (renewablepress) - In April, the Renewables Academy (RENAC) is offering again its popular training course ‘Introduction to Renewable Energy Technologies’ as a 'Special Edition', both virtually and live. The international training provider is thus responding to the continuing high demand for practical online live training in this seminal field. The worldwide demand for further training during the Corona pandemic remains high, as a rusult of which a special training format has been developed that also ensures lively, interactive learning virtually.

Over two-week period, participants have the opportunity to expand and deepen their knowledge of renewable energy technologies worldwide from the comfort of their own homes, without having to consider possible travel restrictions. The new virtual, interactive learning units are field-tested and specifically tailored to the learning needs in this industry.

"RENAC has been very quick to address the changing situation over the past year and has developed new virtual formats," says RENAC’s CEO Berthold Breid. "This enabled RENAC to seamlessly offer opportunities to expand one's own knowledge in a practical and interactive way. In the meantime, we can look back on new additional experience and success stories in the training sector for renewable energies. The many enthusiastic feedbacks of the participants are a great motivation for the team and show how important it is also in the training sector to think digitally in a fast and flexible new way," Breid continues.

The new digital offering of live sessions, virtual classrooms and international networking is complemented by group work and supported by various latest digital working tools. The training is aimed at participants who are interested in a comprehensive overview of technical and economic aspects of renewable energies and their implementation. The main target group are project managers who want to get involved in the market development of a climate-friendly and sustainable energy supply.

The introductory course 'Introduction in Renewable Energy Technologies' will take place from 19 to 30 April 2021 and is offered in English. Participants will gain an insight into various renewable energy technologies such as photovoltaics, solar thermal, hydropower, wind energy and biogas. An overview of the areas of application, important economic aspects and the basics of system implementation round off the content of this compact course.

The Berlin-based Renewables Academy AG (RENAC) is one of the world's leading training providers in the field of renewable energies and energy efficiency. Since its foundation in 2008, more than 21,000 participants from over 160 countries have taken part in the various training programmes.
