The development, manufacture, project management and servicing of wind turbines in the onshore segment has been the core competence and passion of the Nordex Group and its more than 7,900 employees worldwide since 1985. As one of the world's largest wind turbine manufacturers, the Nordex Group offers high-yield, cost-efficient wind turbines under the Acciona Windpower and Nordex brands that enable long-term and economical power generation from wind energy in all geographical and climatic conditions.

The focus is on turbines in the 3 to 5MW+ class, and the Group’s comprehensive product portfolio offers individual solutions for both markets with limited space and regions with limited grid capacities. With more than 29 GW of installed capacity worldwide, Nordex Group systems deliver sustainable energy throughout more than 80 per cent of the world’s energy market (excluding China).

Nordex SE is listed on the TecDAX of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. The management holding company is headquartered in Rostock, while the executive board and administrative offices are based in Hamburg. At production facilities in Germany, Spain, Brazil, the US, and India, the Nordex Group produces its own nacelles, rotor blades and concrete towers. The Group also maintains offices and branches in more than 25 countries.

The future of our energy supply is in renewables. This has been VSB Group’s guiding principle since 1996. And it’s been successful, too. From its head office in Dresden, the consultancy has become an international provider of wind energy and photovoltaic solutions. VSB adds value throughout the entire project life cycle, from securing land through approval planning and implementation to operations. We also offer our clients and investors a full range of specialized services and operate as a general contractor. We aim to provide quality, optimal project management, high-value components and excellent partners.

VSB implements environmentally-friendly projects, reducing CO2 emissions by several thousand tonnes. With our partners, we help municipal councils and mayors to develop and implement energy- and climate-driven concepts. Our common goal is to create a reliable energy supply, use energy consciously and efficiently and at low cost. This enables us to involve citizens comprehensively at an early stage, build acceptance and develop individual participation models.

Over 350 employees in Germany, Europe and around the world are engaged to make our vision of 100 percent energy generation from renewables a reality. For example, we have already succeeded in connecting roughly more than 700 wind energy and photovoltaic plants to the grid. Many other projects are currently in development with cooperation partners, municipalities, citizens and investors.

wpd was founded in Bremen in 1996 and has developed into one of the leading developers and operators (IRPP) of onshore wind and solar parks in Europe. wpd GmbH has over 1,300 employees worldwide. In addition to wpd GmbH (project developer and operator), the wpd group also includes wpd windmanager (commercial management and technical operation of wind and solar parks).

wpd is active in 33 countries worldwide and has implemented projects with 2,810 wind turbines and a total output of 6,970 MW, as well as solar energy projects with an output of 70 MW. The company's own portfolio includes projects with a total capacity of 3,512 MW.

In addition to developing its own projects, the company also takes on project partnerships, commercial development, contract design, project financing and the completion and operation of wind and solar energy plants. Thanks to its many years of expertise, the company is a recognized reliable partner for power purchase agreements (PPAs).

In addition to its home market in Germany, wpd is also active in the major wind and solar markets in Europe, in North and South America, as well as in various countries in the rapidly growing Asian market. The company has built up a global project pipeline of 31,585 MW of onshore wind and 7,360 MWp of solar PV and is making a significant contribution to the global energy transition.
