Nordex Group to deliver 21 turbines totalling 147 MW for largest wind project to date in Latvia

06.08.2025 | Hamburg (renewablepress) - With an order received in June, the Nordex Group scores again in Latvia: The Group is supplying and installing 21 N163/6.X turbines for the Pienava wind farm. Totalling 147 MW it is the largest wind project to date in the country. Developed by Eolus, one of the largest renewable energy solutions developers in Scandinavia, the project has been sold to Latvenergo, Latvia’s state-owned energy company. After commissioning in March 2027, the Nordex Group will be responsible for the maintenance of the turbines as part of a maintenance contract with a term of 15 years.
