IWR stellt Studie "Zur Lage der Regenerativen Energiewirtschaft in NRW" vor
Münster (iwr-pressedienst) - Gestern haben die NRW-Wirtschaftsministerin Christa Thoben und IWR-Leiter Dr. Norbert Allnoch im Rahmen einer Landespressekonferenz im Landtag von Nordrhein-Westfalen die Studie "Zur Lage der Regenerativen Energiewirtschaft in NRW" vorgestellt.
In der 100 Seiten umfassenden Studie wird ein ganzheitliches Bild der Regenerativen Energiewirtschaft für das Bundesland Nordrhein-Westfalen gezeichnet. Die Untersuchung, die in ihrer Art einzigartig ist, zeigt nicht nur auf, welchen Beitrag die erneuerbaren Energien in den drei Kernbereichen Strom, Wärme und Treibstoffe liefern, sondern gibt auch Auskunft darüber, welche Umsätze die Firmen der Branche tätigen und wie viele Arbeitsplätze entstanden sind. "Erneuerbare Energien werden oft in der öffentlichen Diskussion auf den Stromsektor und den Klimaschutz reduziert. Wir haben mit dieser Untersuchung auch zeigen können, welche industriellen Chancen mit der Herstellung regenerativer Energieanlagentechniken verbunden sind," sagte Dr. Norbert Allnoch.
Das IWR wird aufbauend auf dieser Studie für Nordrhein-Westfalen eine Evaluierung des Standortes hinsichtlich der Herstellung und Produktion regenerativer Energietechniken sowie der landesweiten Forschungsaktivitäten im internationalen Vergleich durchführen. Damit sollen die industriewirtschaftlichen Chancen für regenerative Energietechniken aus dem Bundesland Nordrhein-Westfalen systematisch ausgelotet werden.
