About wpd GmbH
wpd was founded in Bremen in 1996 and has become one of the leading developers and operators (IRPP) of onshore wind and solar parks in Europe. The group of companies has a total of 4,300 employees and consists of wpd GmbH (project planner and operator), wpd windmanager (commercial management and technical operation) and Deutsche Windtechnik (maintenance and technology).
