Las capacidades de biodiesel aumentan en 2007 a un nivel récord
Münster – En Alemania se construyen cada vez más instalaciones de producción de biodiesel. El Foro Económico Internacional de las Energías Renovables (IWR), con sede en la ciudad alemana de Münster, ha comunicado que, según un análisis actual, para el año en curso están planificadas instalaciones adicionales con una capacidad anual de 1,54 millones de toneladas. Así, la capacidad total de la producción de biodiesel en Alemania aumentará hasta finales del año en más de 40% a aprox. 5,4 millones de toneladas (2006: 3,8 millones de toneladas).
En 2006 las ventas totales de combustible en Alemania alcanzaron 51,7 millones de toneladas, de ellas 29,1 millones de diesel y 22,6 millones de gasolina. A una plena explotación de las capacidades de producción nacionales sería posible alcanzar una proporción teórica de más de 18% de biodiesel en el diesel mineral.
