再生能源股：RENIXX股指保持中国势头
明斯特-国际再生能源股票指数RENIXX World仍然保持亚洲企业数量猛增势头。2011年7月1日进行指数调整后，入选RENIXX指数的30家企业中有13家来自亚洲，其中11家为中国企业，另两家则分别来自印度和中国台湾。国际可再生能源论坛（IWR）在明斯特称，5年前Suntech Power还是RENIXX中唯一的亚洲企业。IWR主席Norbert Allnoch博士指出：“中国在可再生能源科技领域所实施的成功政策在RENIXX指数得到了明显反映。”
5家企业在7月1日指数调整审核后被选入RENIXX，入选条件是市场资本额的自由流通程度。 今年，风力涡轮机生产商明阳和太阳能企业韩华新能源有限公司（Hanwha SolarOne，前身：Solarfun）两家中国企业被纳入RENIXX指数。同时入选的还有德国公司 Centrotherm Photovoltaics、美国风能供应商Zoltek 和加拿大设备运营商Alterra Power。而被调出的有能源公司EDF和Iberdrola的两家可再生能源子公司，因为其母公司已决定回购几年前上市的可再生能源企业EDF Energies Nouvelles（法国）和Iberdrola Renovables（西班牙）。同时被调出指数的还有美国太阳能模组封装材料商STR Holdings，中国太阳能晶片生产厂商 Renesola和比利时风电动力设备厂商Hansen Transmissions。
2011年上半年，RENIXX跌幅为10.3%，指数跌至474.85点（统计时间2011年6月30日）。至日本3月份发生核电站危机为止，RENIXX一直处于持续下跌状态，后曾因为日本福岛核电站爆炸事件而有暂时反弹。不过，RENIXX在2011年6月27日以454.87的点数创出2005年5月以来的新低。
