Deutsche Windtechnik 2012: More than 120MW new output under full servicing
Hannover/Bremen - A continuously growing number of operators now rely on Deutsche Windtechnik to complete servicing work for their wind turbines. In addition to the basic service contract, the trend is now especially to conclusion of individual overall servicing concepts: 70 wind turbines with a total nominal output of more than 120MW have commenced full servicing contracts this year alone – including a tender for 34 turbines (57MW) of TREUCON Asset Management GmbH, Berlin. A total of over 150 of the approx. 1150 wind turbines currently supported by Deutsche Windtechnik are now serviced in line with full service contracts.
The tender of TREUCON Asset Management GmbH comprises12 Vestas® turbines of the type, V80 as well as 22 NEG Micon® machines NM72. \"The full service concepts of Deutsche Windtechnik enable us to plan long-term with minimum risk\", states Monika Hentze, Managing Director of TREUCON Asset Management GmbH, commenting on the new service partnership which has been continuously enhanced since 2008. This means that a large share of wind turbines professionally managed by TREUCON Asset Management GmbH (a total of around 100 wind turbines with over 120 MW) are covered by full service contracts. Lars Behrends, Sales Director at Deutsche Windtechnik Service, summarizes the requirements for the success of the full service concepts: \"A wide range of synergies within the Deutsche Windtechnik Group, our sustainable and well-organized spare parts management and our close partnerships with banks and insurances enable us to even cover external damages, if requested. Full service is for all operators who want to play it safe\".
Customized full service concepts
In addition to basic servicing, Deutsche Windtechnik has three standard options of full service which can be adjusted to meet individual requirements: full servicing including main components – with or without external damages – as well as full servicing without coverage for main components. The contract concept includes all services required for ideal plant operation, from maintenance through to repair and updates. In addition, the operator receives a guarantee for up to 97% availability of his plants.
