All for Offshore and Deutsche Windtechnik conclude first independent Offshore Service Contract with RWE
Bremen/Hamburg - Within the scope of a service contract with RWE Innogy GmbH, All for Offshore GmbH (A4O) will now be servicing and managing a met mast of the offshore wind-park \"Nordsee Ost\" together with Deutsche Windtechnik over a period of four years. This met mast is the central system for the control and monitoring of the offshore project during the construction period until 2013 as well as subsequent years of operation.
Part of the agreement includes the maintenance and repair of the supporting structure above water, the lattice masts, power supply, safety facilities and measuring technology. The North Sea island of Helgoland is the basis for such work, where A40 has had its own office since last year. \"The met mast serves to generate decisive data for the complete construction and operation phase of the project, Nordsee Ost\", says Oliver Heinecke, Managing Director of A4O, explaining the background to the project. A total of 48 wind turbines of Class 6MW are planned for the project, Nordsee Ost.
