Dritter Windpark der wpd europe in Kroatien in Betrieb
Bremen (iwr-pressedienst) - Der Windpark Ponikve (Kroatien) ist wie geplant am 20. Oktober 2012 in Betrieb gegangen. Er befindet sich zirka 60 Kilometer nord-westlich von Dubrovnik auf der Halbinsel Pelješac. 16 Windenergieanlagen vom Typ Enercon E-70 E4 mit einer Gesamtleistung von 36,8 Megawatt werden etwa 68 Millionen Kilowattstunden jährlich einspeisen. Somit können rund 60.000 Haushalte mit umweltfreundlicher Energie versorgt werden.
Der Netzanschluss wird über ein wpd eigenes Umspannwerk mit 20/110 Kilovolt ermöglicht, das über eine neu errichtete 110 Kilovolt-Freileitung von 800 Metern Länge mit dem bestehenden Übertragungsnetz des Netzbetreibers HEP verbunden wurde. Der Betrieb von Windpark und Umspannwerk geht nun in die Verantwortung der Gesellschaft wpd windmanager Croatia über. Zudem sorgt ein mit Enercon über 15 Jahre abgeschlossenes Partnerkonzept zur Wartung der Anlagen für die Gewährleistung eines reibungslosen Betriebs.
Der Windpark hat ein Investitionsvolumen von 45 Millionen Euro. Er ist bereits der dritte wpd Windpark in Kroatien nach Trtar-Krtolin (Inbetriebnahme 2006) und Orlice (2009). wpd Projektmanager Andreas Chollet: "Kroatien hat mit einer moderaten Änderung der Rahmenbedingungen im Frühjahr 2012 seinen Kurs bekräftigt, Investitionen in erneuerbare Energien zu fördern. Auch die wpd Gruppe hält Kurs und freut sich, dass eine ihrer größten Auslandsinvestitionen jetzt in der Inbetriebnahme des Windparks Ponikve mündete."
