Deutsche Windtechnik Steuerung obtains certificate according to EN ISO 9001:2008
Bremen/Ostenfeld - Deutsche Windtechnik Steuerung GmbH & Co. KG has obtained the certification according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2008 for its performances with regard to development, overhaul and maintenance of wind energy plants. The audit was carried out by Germanischer Lloyd (GL Systems Certification) this month.
The certificate confirms that Deutsche Windtechnik Steuerung consistently works according to the standards of a target- and performance-oriented quality management. Intern and extern processes have been standardized and optimized within the scope of the certification in order to grant the maximum possible quality in a sustainable way.
Process optimization generates transparency
„The main advantages of the certification are the optimization of the intern coordination as well as the improvement of structures. With the help of clear structures we generate transparency with regard to our intern procedures through our document management as well as for the client. In this connection a standardization of contact persons took place so that the interface to the customer became much clearer”, Karl Keusgen, manager of Deutsche Windtechnik Steuerung, says. From now on the new contact person for the sales department at Deutsche Windtechnik Service is Melf Lorenzen.
Development, sales, overhaul, optimization
Deutsche Windtechnik Steuerung develops and sells electronic spare parts for wind energy plants of the manufacturers Vestas® and Siemens®. One of the main reasons for the failure of wind energy plants are errors at electronic components. Deutsche Windtechnik offers completely overhauled electronic devices with the substitution method. Above that, the company carries out overhauls according to industrial standards. For each type of electronic devices a customized diagnosis and repair design as well as a detailed documentation have been created.

The focus areas of the service provider are machine service, rotor blade service, control, expert opinions & consulting, substations and repowering.
