Deutsche Windtechnik receives full maintenance contract for 74 Vestas® wind turbines
Bremen - Deutsche Windtechnik has concluded new full maintenance contracts for 74 wind energy turbines from the manufacturer Vestas® with a total of 130,5 MW rated power. The turbines of the types V80, V90, NM82 which are installed in different wind farms belong to the wind farm portfolio of Swisspower Renewables AG, an associated company of currently eleven Swiss public utilities.
The contractual construct comprises full maintenance including large components. Deutsche Windtechnik undertakes all services which are necessary for the optimal operation of the turbines - from maintenance to repair works to updates. Above that, the company guarantees a technical availability of the turbines of 97 percent. The contract period is scheduled for seven years.
The Swisspower Renewables AG pursues the objective to invest in renewable energy production, especially in onshore wind and water power in Switzerland as well as in the neighboring European countries.
