Récord: Las exportaciones de electricidad alemanas alcanzan un nuevo máximo histórico
Münster – Alemania exportó en 2013 más electricidad que nunca hasta la fecha. Las suministradoras eléctricas alcanzaron en 2013 un superávit de exportación de poco menos de 34 mil millones de kilovatios-hora (kWh), según el Instituto de Energías Renovables (IWR) en Münster, bajo la base de datos de los operadores de red europeos. En comparación con el año 2012 (23 mil millones de kWh), supone un aumento del 47 por ciento. “A pesar del elevado consumo durante los meses de invierno, el superávit de exportación fue inusualmente alto incluso en esta temporada de frío”, señaló el director de IWR, el Dr. Norbert Allnoch, en Münster.
El superávit de exportación arruina el equilibrio climático alemán
Por tercer año consecutivo, los proveedores alemanes han aumentado el actual excedente de exportación. De acuerdo con los datos facilitados por AG Energiebilanzen, concretamente la producción de electricidad a partir de lignito y carbón del último año, a expensas del gas natural, aumentó considerablemente. De esta manera, el uso de lignito para la producción de electricidad en Alemania asciende a 162 mil millones de kWh (2013), su nivel más alto desde 1990. La producción energética a partir de carbón ha aumentado un 6,5 por ciento en 2013 en comparación con el año anterior, con una cifra de 124 mil millones de kWh. \"El desbordamiento del mercado alemán con la energía del carbón lleva, con la simultánea expansión de las energías renovables, a un alto superávit de exportación, mientras la cantidad de emisiones de dióxido de carbono se eleva innecesariamente a una cifra aproximada de 30 millones de toneladas”, indicó Allnoch.
