Deutsche Windtechnik continues its positive Service Trend: Plus 200MW in the 1. half-year of 2014
Bremen - 108 wind turbines with almost 200 MW under new Service Contract – that’s the encouraging interim result for Deutsche Windtechnik Service 2014. And 84 per cent of the new wind turbines are supported on the basis of Full Service Agreements – which indicates the continued acceptance of and confidence in our all-round service packet. At the same time, our service network has been expanded by 4 stations and further qualified staff employed. Within the framework of long-term service contracts, our wind turbine engineers service a total of 1568 wind turbines.
„In its full service contracts, Deutsche Windtechnik guarantees technical availability of up to 97 per cent with extensive flexibility in terms of contractual conditions. This ensures planning security and takes into consideration the different starting positions and requirements of our customers“, says Lars Behrends, authorized officer and Department ManagerSales at Deutsche Windtechnik Service, when explaining the success of the full service option. Since 2014 new options can be included in the full service contract at the request of customers, for example, foundations or various tests and regulations.
Service network expanded nationwide
New customers especially include operators of Vestas® windturbines. Operators of AN Bonus/Siemens® machines are also tending towards the full-service concept with Deutsche Windtechnik. To ensure service quality in future, the service network was expanded in the 1. half-year by four new locations (Bassum, Isernhagen, Greifswald and Cottbus) to 45 bases.
Deutsche Windtechnik has its head office in Bremen and provides a complete packet for technical servicing of wind turbines from under one roof. The company works on projects onshore and offshore. Our specialist services include Machine Service, Rotor Blade Service, Consulting, Safety, Control, Substations and Repowering.
