El sol y el viento proporcionan a Alemania tanta energía como 40 grandes centrales eléctricas
Muenster – La serie de tormentas de esta semana ha regalado a Alemania un nuevo record en producción de energía eólica y solar. El lunes 30 de marzo de 2015, durante las horas de picos de carga, las instalaciones fotovoltaicas y eólicas produjeron una potencia total de casi 44.000 megavatios (MW) de energía, según informó el instituto alemán IWR de energías renovables (IWR) en Münster. Esto corresponde al rendimiento de alrededor de 40 grandes centrales eléctricas. En este periodo de tiempo, las instalaciones eólicas produjeron 30.000 MW de potencia y, simultáneamente, las instalaciones fotovoltaicas más de 13.000 MW. Los valores se basan en una evaluación de los datos provisionales de la bolsa de la energía y de los operadores de la red. El anterior record de energía solar y eólica, 38.000 MW en abril de 2014, fue superado en casi un 16 por ciento. “Un récord de rendimiento de estas características era para muchos expertos impensable hace solo 10 años”, ha dicho el director del instituto alemán IWR de energías renovables, Dr. Norbert Allnoch en Münster.
