Deutsche Windtechnik neemt alle offshore inspectie en onderhoudscontracten over van Ballast Nedam N.V.
Bremen - Deutsche Windtechnik B.V. en Ballast Nedam Beheer N.V. zijn tot overeenstemming gekomen over de overname van vier grote offshore wind projecten. Deutsche Windtechnik neemt de inspectie en onderhoudcontracten over voor de funderingen en kabels van de offshore windpark Butendiek, Offshore Windfarm Luchterduinen en Prinses Amaliawindpark in de Noordzee, en windpark Westermeerwind in het IJsselmeer. Ook de civiele ingenieurs en projectmanagers van Ballast Nedam komen mee naar Deutsche Windtechnik. Met deze aankoop vergroot Deutsche Windtechnik zijn competenties en deskundigheid op het gebied van civiele constructies en (onderwater) inspecties en is het bedrijf in staat om de complete scope van inspectie-en onderhoudsservices aan te bieden.
Sterke groei civiele kennis
Binnen Deutsche Windtechnik is de civiele funderingskennis en kennis van onderwater inspecties nu geconcentreerd in de Nederlandse vestiging in Utrecht. \"Met de overname van deze projecten en het gekwalificeerde personeel hebben we onze expertise voor funderingen en onderwaterinspectie verder versterkt en onze positie als speler op de offshore-markt belangrijk verbeterd\", licht Geert Timmers, landelijk manager van Deutsche Windtechnik B.V., toe. \"Met inbegrip van reeds lopende contracten in Duitsland, inspecteren en onderhouden we meer dan 315 fundamenten van offshore-windparken in de Noordzee, en ook de kabels tussen de turbines. Dit omvat onder meer coating en corrosie inspecties onder en boven water, maar ook kabelsurveys, en onderzoek aan lasnaden of veiligheidsvoorzieningen. We werken binnen deze contracten schouder aan schouder met de bedrijven die onderhoud aan de turbines doen.\"
Complete service voor het offshore windpark
Jens Landwehr,CEO van Deutsche Windtechnik Offshore und Consulting GmbH, vult aan: \"Met ons ervaren personeel, onze infrastructuur en ons maritiem netwerk zijn we nu gekwalificeerd om de volledige service voor het onderhoud van offshore-windparken boven en onder water integraal aan te bieden. Dit omvat servicepakketten voor de windturbines, het hoogspanningsstation (OHVS) en nu dus ook de funderingen en kabelsurveys. Ons eigen Marine Coordination Team staat in voor de coördinatie van de offshore-activiteiten en de bewaking van het zeegebied rond het windpark . Dankzij ons grote project-portfolio in meerdere landen zijn we heel goed in staat om specifieke servicepakketten op maat voor de klant te leveren. De klant profiteert direct van dit efficientievoordeel.\"
