Greencells Group acquires project rights for a 127 MWp solar PV portfolio from Stark Energie
© CapcoraFrankfurt am Main (renewablepress) - Greencells Group has agreed to acquire a portfolio of late-stage solar PV development projects in Germany from Stark Energie, an international project developer of utility-scale solar projects. The portfolio consists of three projects, which Stark Energie will develop to the ready-to-build (RTB) stage. Capcora supported the seller as exclusive M&A advisor in this transaction.

Stark Energie, which also operates under the name Stark Energy in the UK, has been active in the renewable energy sector since 2019. Known for its exceptional track record in securing planning consent for solar PV projects, the company has advanced over 1 GW of solar projects to various stages of development and construction in the UK. In Germany, Stark Energie currently has 610 MW of projects in development.

This acquisition marks a significant milestone for both companies, further strengthening their positions in the German PV market. With Stark Energie’s development expertise and Greencells Group’s extensive experience in solar EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) and O&M (Operations & Maintenance) services, the partnership is poised to deliver high-quality solar energy projects.
