Renewable energy: Positive business climate continues in August
Münster – The ebullient mood in the renewable energy sector in Germany continues unabated in August 2006. With 110.7 points, the corresponding business climate index of the International Economic Platform of Renewable Energies (IWR), Münster, reached exactly the same level as in the very good previous month of July (110.7 points). When comparing the months, companies judge the current business situation in August to be minimally worse. When looking ahead to the next six months, however, companies are even more optimistic than in July. "Overall, there continues to be an excellent mood in the renewable energy sector. It’s gratifying that the already positive export situation for renewable energy systems technology has improved even more relative to the high value reached in July", says IWR Director Dr. Norbert Allnoch.
