El tiempo tormentoso trae un nuevo récord mensual de energía eólica
Muenster – El tiempo tormentoso e inestable de las últimas semanas ha regalado un nuevo récord de energía eólica a Alemania. En diciembre de 2014 Alemania produjo casi nueve mil millones de kilovatios-hora (kWh) de energía eólica, compartió el Foro Económico Internacional de Energías Renovables (IWR) basado en un análisis de datos preliminaries de la bolsa de energía. Hasta entonces no se había llegado nunca a esa cifra en un mes.
Con un total de 8,9 mil millones de kilovatios-hora se pudo superar la hasta el momento cifra récord de diciembre de 2011 (8,4 mil millones de kWh). “La razón principal para el mes récord de energía eólica son las actuales condiciones meteorológicas ciclónicas, con una gran cantidad de zonas de baja presión”, comentó en Münster el director de IWR, el Dr. Norbert Allnoch. Este nuevo récord podría sin embargo superarse ya en 2015, según IWR. Muchos de los nuevos parques eólicos de alta mar se unen en 2015 por primera vez a la producción y éstos generan electricidad principalmente en los meses invernales de fuertes vientos y alto consumo.
