Sonne und Wind liefern Deutschland so viel Strom wie 40 Großkraftwerke
Münster (iwr-pressedienst) - Die Sturmserie in dieser Woche hat Deutschland einen neuen Wind- und Solarrekord beschert. Am Montag, den 30.03.2015, lieferten Wind- und Solaranlagen zur Spitzenlastzeit mit einer Leistung von zusammen knapp 44.000 Megawatt (MW) Strom, teilte das Internationale Wirtschaftsforum Regenerative Energien (IWR) in Münster mit. Das entspricht der Leistung von rd. 40 durchschnittlichen Großkraftwerken. Windkraftanlagen produzierten Strom in dieser Zeit mit über 30.000 und gleichzeitig Solaranlagen mit über 13.000 MW Leistung. Die Werte basieren auf einer Auswertung der vorläufigen Daten der Strombörse und der Netzbetreiber. Der bisherige Allzeit-Rekord für Wind und Solar (38.000 MW) aus dem April 2014 wurde mit knapp 16 Prozent übertroffen. „Einen solchen Leistungsrekord hätten vor zehn Jahren viele Experten noch für völlig undenkbar gehalten“, sagte IWR-Direktor Dr. Norbert Allnoch in Münster.
